A gambler suddenly awoke and realised that he was no longer on earth but in heaven. During his time on earth, he had wished to gamble to his heart's content when he would be in heaven. Here he would be with the most beautiful damsels around, sumptupus foods and in the most beautiful place he had ever seen. Without wasting time, he tried his hand on the betting table and his luck does not leave him as he started winning.He went on winning day after day, week after week, month after month and even year after year.
Gradually he started to get annoyed and restless with the routine. Nothing changed:There were the same beautiful women, sumptuous foods, beautiful place, pleasant perfume and other heavenly pleasures.One day he approached the one in charge of heaven and told him that he was extremely restless and bored.He asked to be moved to some other place."But there is no other place for you as this is what you have sought during your whole life.In fact this is the other place", came the reply.
Now just imagine a life without problems and death! If that happened people would be bored to death or become mad. Fortunately, the mind is here to seek for trouble all the time and also fortunately there is death. What are human beings aiming at by developing more advanced technology in all fields of science and arts? No illness, no famine, mechanisation and computerisation of almost all systems of work. Then what will people do? The mind will always find some occupation and create sufferings so that it can assert itself. It is a psychological fact that deep within, people do not want to get liberated from their suffering, This is why, consciously or unconsciously, they are always creating new circumstances in which they are caught.
Now if you try to be calm and silent for a few hours, watching the inner mechanism so that you can know what inner silence is? Are all your cause and sufferings is the absence of inner silence? Is the cause within or without? Are you only a witness to the world? Are your eyes really seeing all that you should? Are you finding scapegoats or can't face yourself? So make move an invite your inner silence!!!!!... ~~ NITIN ~~

Mauritius Government

Well hi me doing this for the sake of a friend telling me to do it....I’m Navin n I ran away from My own country as politic had started taking over everything, I knew that the way it was going well it would become how it is today. I left 4 years Ago now am in UK doing me last year of Civil Engineering.

I’ve tried my best to write this in simplest form so as every single people reading this could understand.

Many things will n have changed since Politic have started taking control over Mauritius. I’m not against any political parties as even if tomorrow I become a memeber of Mauritian political group well, I would definitely steal as this is a kind of Obligation that every1 entering this group have made over these years…

Due to this Politic well My Mauritius is being changed for the worst in all aspects n will continue till something is done. I won’t be going in too many details about this but still I’ve got some stuff to remind people.

There was a time when people used to fight for their political parties well I class those people as fools as due to their own fault that Mauritius is Down as it is. Funny thing I can’t understand is after a person have worked very hard to achieve a proper education well, there is no work for him unless he get to know a Member Of I’ll say “Political Party” n that as well he must know a High kind of Level person in that department then beg for a recommendation letter for a job…

Now we come on CyberCity that have been created well, this as well will go down soon as politic have started taking over, CyberCity is n was meant to compete with other countries, which it is doing but, I say if Politics intefers ,well then cybercity progress with stay just in the middle of the ladder….
But there is not just bad things there is only 1 thing that is holding on n will always will hold on… Political conflicts between several parties allowed for a great how can i say a major beautiful mistake that will keep hold of Mauritius.. many foolish people still think that making french people take over control over Mauritius Telecom was the worst ever decision made by how can i say "Politics", but I say…
Best "mistake" or "decison" i dont know which 1, but anyway the decision have had many gud impacts on all of us mauritians as due to that the only main gud thing that had happen was creation of jobs.

Compare what else jobs have been created which didn`t involve the cybercity or the telecom.

I think that till now u see clever people taking up decisions about i give u a simple example that most of people will know which is Roadworks.

Well ladies n gentleman am not too much in politics welll this is all i can give u information about.

Lebanon crisis

The world community: At the feet of Lebanon in crisis in Paris. Some 40 countries and 14 International institutions, joining themselves to help Lebanon to overcome its disastrous economic crisis.

Great personalities of the world had taken part in this forum, namely President Chirac, U.S state secretary Condoleezza Rice. They did discuss on giving a new life to the Lebanon economy and the country’s production and they did talk about restoring its economic condition. However, have you ever think about their real goal???/…as much, as I know nothing is given free in this world.... (BY NASIF)

The universe is nearly infinite in grandeur. The human life is next to nothing compared to the life cycle and vastness of this wonder-filled existence. Our life begins from the womb and ends in the tomb. Could there be more to what our lives are between the womb and the tomb? If yes, then Solomon is absolutely right: everything is vanity, illusive and horrible. The child is perfectly unconscious, at least up to a certain age. That produces innocence, purity and beauty in it. During the last stage of life when one foot is on earth and another is being pulled by the tomb, man becomes a strange creature. People usually say that the old ones are child-like. But far from being innocent, pure and unconscious like the child, the elderly person has become cunning, ugly and miserly. He has grown up only physically, his development has not been mental. Life has been only a struggle to fulfil the basic needs and a few sensual pleasures. Throughout this journey, he has developed so many ugly qualities such as greed, anger, jealousy, lust and others.My own observation is that the mind has to undergo a complete transformation. Prior to that, it has to be understood how the present situation has ensnared the mind. For that purpose, psychology and scientific spiritual practices like Yoga can be of much help. A global understanding of the nature of man, God and the Universe would be of paramount importance. Some religions lay great emphasis on our eating habits. Could it be that the food we consume influences our mind and its behaviour? The thought process and the different levels of our consciousness have to be studied. I am fully convinced that the real solution to all problems lies with religion. Of course, I mean that religion can be used as a means, not as an end. The end and aim is to go beyond all forms of conflict and sorrow so as to attain never-ending bliss. ~~

Curriculum development for putting people first!! - -

No teaching or education system is successful if learning does not take place; therefore there are certain pedagogical conditions which are required. Initially the trained teachers will focus on the proposed pedagogy and eventually many approaches can be transferred to all teaching leaching learning situations, for development of body, mind and heart happens all the time; although the self education classes will focus only the aspects proposed as content of the program,
The teacher is the first experimenter who puts to practice these skills as life skills so that they are capable of discussing with students the progress made, difficulties faced and further action required. Role modeling is very effective.
This is a highly interactive learning because the golden rule is practice for it is fully skills based. Hence learning by doing is the motto.
Participation for exchange of ideas, frank talk, talking about oneself usually more conveniently successful call for peer learning, group activities and individual reflection. Encouragement for sincerity with oneself, acceptance of one’s own reality within a given context and discovery of strengths through “no wrong but area for further development concept” will be a highly effective approach. No sense of guilt but an opportunity for setting higher targets through a lesson learnt will form an integral part of the pedagogy.
Therapeutic skills coupled with theoretical knowledge about their benefits, backed by related literature will be incorporated in the strategy.
Exposure to cognitive aspects will incorporate more audiovisual means, literature and Knowledge Hub concept.
Enquiry, questioning, free discussions and pastoral needs expressed by students will form an integral part of the pedagogy since this subject will cause students to bring to surface their complexes and blockages which when repressed ultimately result in behavioral disfunctioning.
Appropriate overall school approach is required to enable an integral approach in the unfurling of the individual.
